Any truth to the rumor that you are no longer required to be in uniform to utilize the Known Crewmember access point?

Hey. Here's an idea. For once on this forum why don't we be professional and not make this info public. This is not public information. Your company and or union will inform you of crewmember access changes. MODs please delete this thread.

Come January 13th, the terrorists are going to figure out the change pretty quickly. This message was published in the open with no attempt to conceal the change. Besides, there are far easier ways to bypass security and wreak havoc on an airliner/airport now.

KCM is not privileged information. It is public information. ALPA in conjunction with A4A have a whole public website explaining the ins and outs of the program including uniform requirements.

As long as Joe Baggasemtex can swipe himself into the secured area with anything that he's strong enough to carry on his back it's a moot point.
