Very interesting. Note the real Piedmont and Republic airlines, as well as the old Frontier.
Wait a minute..... You mean there was a Republic before the current Republic?!?!?!?;)

Ages ago in the smoking area at CLT a Republic FA showed me her pin and said it was going to be their new logo. It was the last "real" Republic logo before NW bought them. She had no clue she didn't work for the "real" Republic.

Wow, I can't wait to see CRJ's in 30 years!

Wait, I wont be able to... they will have been in a landfill for 10 years somewhere in the shape of a Busch Light can.

AMAZING how well airplanes used to be built!!

Nice find.

Those Piedmont 737-400's are still flying!

Had to be a -200...400's weren't being built yet. I think some of those early -400's(late 80's) are still in service with US Airways.

Love those L10's....the good ole days.

Piedmont didn't fly -100s. They only built 30 of the -100s and most went to Lufthansa with a few ending up at other places.

Exactly! Lufthansa ordered the -100s. They only built 30 and a majority of them went to People and then through Uncle Frank to Continental. That's a -200 and a beautiful one at that.

Great video. As I tell everyone, I entered this career 30 years too late.
