Did training pay, or lodging in training change? That first year pay is a HUGE improvement!

Hi!

Great job Kalitta. I'm glad to see contract improvements for pilots.

Hi!

The 17 days on, rest of the month off is standard for the overseas ACMI (Atlas/Polar/Gemini/World).

I have heard that Atlas is working on 2 wks on/2 wks off in the next contract.

Does someone have a better schedule in their market?

Now they just need to get a decent schedule.

I guess it all depends on the individual. I did the 4 on 3 off 5 on 2 off crap as a commuter. It sucked big time. I love getting all of my work days done at once. Only two commutes a month and the company pays for the ticket. No more leaving a day early because the loads are bad and the jumpseats are full. Plus I get to keep all my miles. I get two weeks off a month all at once. I have taken many mini vacations with the family with my off time.

I agree completely embpic1!! they can have the domestic schedules for pax regional or major....

-What's the current hiring outlook ?

-If you have the flight time when you show up, how long is upgrade running ?

-In your 17 days on, how much flying vs how much sitting ?

Thanks for the info.....
