Boots

I wore Justin Ropers when I was flying. Durable, comfortable and good-looking, but the primary reason I wore them was for safety. I liked having the ankle protection.

I have a pair of Ariat roughout cowboy boots. Great fit, extremely comfortable, and good support. Good shank, as others said. Excellent value. I bet the Ariat ropers are equally good.

Then there's always the pilot who wears the side-zip low-cut girly-girl Austin Powers Italian booty. Ha Ha.

Are people actually still wearing those?

Luchesse ropers are great, although darn expensive. I have a pair of smooth ostrich, man are they put together well. Mine are about 10 years old, back before they started to have skimp on the quality a little. Comfortable as all hell.
