No, just go to the gate. The agent may roll his/her eyes after asking if you are listed and you say no, but it is my understanding that only online jumpseaters can list. I have used them extensively. Been denied too a couple of times, but that's over on another thread. Ha! ;)

Yes, most of the employees at Northwest are very bitter and rude. Mainly the gate agents and fa's.

Its been a while but I used to always use NWA and had nothing but a good experience. Perhaps a gate agent or two having a bad day but they never hindered me. And almost alway got First class if it was available (and I'm a freight dog). I have also been listed by calling this number 1 800 225 2525. Some would list me and others would say I could'nt be. You can find out how full a flight is by this number so you have some idea what your chances of getting on are.

Thanks for including us in the a$$hole category. Everyone I know tries very hard to accommodate all J/S riders, especially offline guys. If your experience was less than you expected, my condolences. I don't think the Employee Jihad had anything to do with it.

Offline guys can not list for the J/S. We can take as many guys as we have jump seats, plus 2 in the cabin.
