If there is any upside to this turbulent profession it's the great people in this industry. Jumpseated on Mesaba/NWA last night; which have always been great by the way. Showed up at the airport Christmas afternoon to head into work and not looking forward to the busy days ahead. Gate agent, Flight Attendants and fellow Pilots brought my spirits up (or a least numbed the pain). For the most part there are such great people in this business and it's nice to have good friends along the way to share a laugh. Wanted to say thanks and wish everyone a Happy New Year!
