Can any America West pilots out of PHX give me any info on the Costa Rica flight out of there. Are the loads heavy going down and the return trip. I am thinking of trying to jump seat down there and if you guys allow international jumpseating. Thanks alot

Getting down usually isn't a problem as long as it's mid-week. PM the dates you are looking at and I will look up the PBT's for you. Getting back can be tricky due to the weight restrictions. We now have a 15kt tailwind exemption for the 319 which probably helps them, but since I don't fly the Airbus I don't know if this really helps or not.

We do take international CABIN jumpseaters - as many as we have seats.

Good luck! I hear American or United back to LAX is a good option if you have trouble getting on our non-stop coming home.
