Does anyone have any new info on any progress being made as to the use of the cockpit jumpseat.

Oh!, and by the way, special thanks the SWA boys and girls for your generosity with your fellow commuters!;)
 
We just received word from our departing VP of Flight (thats right folks the Kude is out, but that is another thread altogether).

Sounds like the TSA signed off and will start in late Aug (next month) and be fully up by Sept. barring any forseen problems.

It will make life a lot easier again:D

I heard a rumor that the only airlines the TSA would approve for offline jumpseats were ATA members. Obviously, this includes all the majors. Are regional airlines included? What about regional airlines wholly owned by a major? If this is the case, then the RAA needs to jump aboard.
