The following airlines will take multiple jumpseaters: If your airline is not on this list I urge you to email your jumpseat coordinator and encourage that you allow multiple jumpseaters.

Atlantic Coast Airlines
Air Midwest
Air Tran Airways
Alaska
Aloha Airlines
Aloha Island Air
America West Airlines
American Trans Air
Atlantic Southeast Airlines
Atlas Air
Casino Express
Comair
Continental Express
Evergreen International
Express One International
Frontier Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines
Horizon Airlines
JetBlue
Mesa Airlines
Polar Air Cargo
PSA
SkyWest Airlines
Shuttle America
Spirit Airlines
Tradewinds
USAirways

Pinnacle will take up to three by company policy. 99% of the pilots will take up to 50...Mgnt has not said anything about it.

every empty seat on mesaba is a jumpseat. NWA will take 2 non-nwa jumpseaters if there's room.

Every empty seat is also jumpseat on Big Sky. Southwest's policy is to take at least two (the normal number of jumpseats), but many times they will take as many as possible.

or Spencer, Iowa.

That was a pretty sh!tty list if you ask me.

... and Gemini ...

Not only the two jumpseats in the cockpit, but those "great" aft-facing courier seats just outside the cockpit!

Any Eagle guys out their....... Have you guys got anything on the go re: multiple seats.

Us ACA'ers love to fill up the plane with you guys (BOS-BTV easily 4 j/s) but would sure like it in return one of these days. I've been left behind many times in BOS (ie stuck overnight) right after taking a bunch of you guys to BTV. What gives???

On that note AA j/s policy in general just sucks. No international, even Canada is a stretch for them.

Rant over.

Where are these carriers:

DL
AA
WN
UA
CO

Why is this on the 'Regionals' forum?

-Boo!

I wholeheartedly agree - AAs policy does suck - especially since all offline dispatchers are not welcome.

At Corpex an empty seat is a jumpseat. In fact, jumpseaters almost always out number passengers from ATL to BNA.

Update as well as to add the current names and contact email for each airline's coordinator.
Thanks

Mesaba takes multiples (not sure if that's the policy or crew). Been beneficiary of this several times.

Oh, and United, too. Again, not sure if that's company or crew.

Try your own jumpseat coordinator. I'm sure they wil be glad to help you with any jumpseat issues you may have. The last thing ANY jumpseat coordinator needs is some slapd*ck pilot from another company calling to complain about their jumpseat policy. The coordinators at all the airlines work amongst themselves to work out issues that crop up.

Is Airtran still charging the $25 for the second and all following jumpseats?

The policy is in effect, but I've only had it implemented once out of perhaps over a dozen or so jumps onboard. Really depends on the mood of the gate agent- charm her (or his!) pants off, you save $25.

That being said, if you can put up with connecting through Sucklanta, AirTran has the best jumpseats around- they've NEVER left me in Trash Class if there was a seat up front!

I was hoping for names and contact info, not to be a bitching pilot, but rather I am taking over the roll for my small company. I have been having trouble putting together any info.

TSA takes two jumpseaters.
