Does anyone have any good ideas on jumpseating from Chicago to Hong Kong leaving the 15th and comming back on the 18th or 19th? I'm pretty sure I cannot JS internationally on FedEx or American. United is a good option but I'm looking to see if there is a good cargo option like Polar or Kalitta.

I think Cathay flies into ORD, not sure where they go, but it's a freighter.

There's only one option if you want to go direct from ORD to HKG, and that is UA flight that leaves @ 11 ish in the morning. That flight is always full and I don't think you can ride the jumpseat.
CX stops in ANC for crew change and re-fueling and you can not jumpseat with them anyway.

Try polar air cargo, www.polaraircargo.com On their website, look up ORD/LAX flight schedule into Incheon, and then INC to HKG. The crew is always very nice, plus all the crew meals you can handle. Fill out the online JS request form, and Susan will list you immediately. Very pleasant experience. No more getting bumped non-rev, no more arm wrestle with the next fella.

I believe they have 5 flights a week to Incheon, and then 5-6 flights to/from HKG a week. PM me if you need more tips.
