I always loved jump seating with AirNet a very exceptional night small check/cargo operation. I have never met a more cohesive environment than these guys. They were exceedingly helpful with getting me to the right connection flight during a chaotic hub. I really appreciated their services and I experienced very friendly flight crews (even got to take the sticks on a Navajo like old times). Because these guys operate at night, that was a great convenience for me. Its more relaxed than the terminal and they normally have someone that helps make sure youre good. I often hear Starcheck jets streaking thru Indy airspace early mornings. So I guess the check is still around for now. I hope these guys can become more active again with jump seating. Any AirNet pilot can ride with me anytime……..

America West is still on our Jump seat agreement list. We are always more than happy to give you all a ride. I know it is a little more of a pain now that we moved to LCK. Send me a PM if you need the info to list.

I use Airnet quite frequently for my commute down to ORL. A great group of guys and I appreciate their help. Riding with boxes beats fighting the large passenger crowds down to MCO anyday. They are welcome to jumpseat on us anytime also.

I thought that Airnet had stopped taking offline jumpseaters due to TSA rules. Has this been changed and offline guys are now allowed to ride again? Can you still call the TIME number to list with dispatch? Thanks.

AirNet can take offline jumpseaters again. However, we have to be able to verify employment. We are not CASS (yet!, hopefully by june) so that means you have to list early enough for us to call either your dispatch or crew scheduling to verify employment. That is the only change for us to carry off-line jumpseaters. The 800 phone number will still work to get a hold of dispatch. If you have trouble, PM me.
