You don't get around much do you? This is a dog eat dog business, and although I support the U people in general, they have been living in a fantasy world for the past 10 years.

Like I said last night, they will try and sell this thing off a piece at a time. Bad for them, but good for others in our business. Some will lose jobs and suffer, while others will gain their jobs and celebrate employment again.

Your post was still out of line IMHO.

I just figured that I could afford to lack a little substance since you can afford to lack facts to base your opinions on.

The facts are out there sport. That denial kool aid is just blinding you Brain Surgeons.

BTW, that is a great term (afford) there Mugs. Perhaps a bit of a Freudian slip about your future?

Anal? One little quip related to your use of "large words" and you get the dictionary out --- and post your findings.

LOL. Nice try but it did make you out to be the grasping fool you are. Face it, you probably didn't even know the word existed.

Ohhh. Stupid is as stupid types. Sorry. I couldn't resist being a little anal there.

Why be sorry for your true nature?

Sound advice there. I'll even proofread it.

I would certainly hope you should proof read it. But unlike you, I wouldn't put the same emphasis on a resume for your financial survival as compared to this message forum. Of course Mugsy, my personal need for writing a resume are long gone.

Hey Mugs, I got a couple openings for valet drivers. PM your resume and I'll take a look at it. But I can't guarantee I'll give you any special consideration like you probably got over at UAL. You know what I mean Mugs? Yes, I think you do.

now now

don't tell me "UNITED" might mean something besides its airline marketing meaning, such as "United Gay/Lesbian/Minority/Non-US Citizen/etc pilot groups?"

as in "we are UNITED"

or "UNITED together"

a good friend, someone not falling into the above groups, interviewed at UAL a few years ago with about 5000 TT, of which was 3000 turbine and turboprop at 121 and 135 companies. ATP, college degree, etc. United said "no" (for whatever reason, who knows and who cares today)

needless to say, my buddie is a 3rd year FO at SWA and has not looked back

hmmm, go figure
