As a 767 was passing over the Barringer Meteor crater in Arizona the captain made an announcement to the passengers. Shortly thereafter a flight attendant comes into the cockpit and says she wants to get a better look out the window. She looks out the window, pauses for a moment and says, “They are lucky it didn’t hit that road.”

An American Airline captain told me this one when I was jumpseating back to Dallas. Not sure if it was true or a joke, either way it made me laugh.
