I am not trying to make another contrail thread, but yesterday I was posted at a place where I had to sit in my car from 7PM to 8AM. All I had was the radio. I like this guy's (Art Idunno what is his last name) show called After Dark or something. So am listening and it was interesting with a psychologist for 4 hours. Then the 2nd half came until 4AM Mr. John Lear was talking.

I have never heard about him so far but he supposedly holds all ratings that the FAA has ever issued and was a professional pilot for all his life flying L1011s and whatnot also for the CIA.

I must say that I am open for UFOs, aliens and all of that. Not as open as I used to be when I was 12 but still open and I am listening and reading if something comes across but not actively searching for information. But this guy was just way over the line. Some fragments I can think off in no particular order:

- 9/11 was caused by those interested in drug profits...
- drug profits are used for USA government cover-ups
- USA was tricked into Afghanistan because Taliban was reducing drug production
- the whole stock exchange and corporate scum was also implemented by the USA gov to get more funds for cover-ups and the consequence was a collapse of economy
- the cold war was an agreement between USA and USSR to divert public attention from UFOs and abductions (My favorite!)
- Vietnam was the same
- Kennedy was shoot because he wanted to come public with the UFO story... there were 4 shooters
- 3rd 9/11 airplane was shot down by an F16 with an MG, a caller could hear the pops though a cell phone while he was talking to a passenger
- there are cities and all kinds of building on the moon
- also on the Mars
- the Venus is simply populated with human like creatures
- all NASA pictures are filtered before they even get to NASA so NASA nose crap (poor NASA)
- airpline pilots can't see UFOs at nioght because they are mostly focused inside on the intruments, and it is night outside anyways...

I can't think of more right now. Pretty nuts... and like I have said I even believe in UFOs more or less. So now you know.

Now what does this have to do with flying? Nothing except that this guy is an aviator, and supposedly a good one.

Probably I should post this into the YGBSM section though... but my hand moves the mouse toward the send reply button... can’t resist... mind control:D

Art Bell puts on a very entertaining show. A few years back he did it full-time, but due to back problems and program-control issues, he retired and the show is hosted by George Noory, an ignorant, dull simpleton who'll put you to sleep in a minute.

Anyway, this John Lear is the son of Bob Lear, inventor of the Learjet. So sad to see a sharp aviator fall prey to these outrageous theories.

Denver130, come here boy! Come here! I'm sure you can explain the wisdom and logic in these theories. :D :D :D

He sounds like a...a Democrat.

The show is called Coast to Coast AM, and Art Bell was a VERY entertaining host. George is no match for the task.

Art's most interesting interview, IMHO, is the one where he talks with the guy who supposedly worked at Area 51.

It's a shame that one man, this Lear guy, can subscribe to so many conspiracy theories at once. As Freud said, "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".

I read that a few years ago Art was talking to some fella who claimed he was in a small airplane and that he was flying into Area 51. ***X Files Theme Music*** The man never returned.

That's true. I saw it on Dark Skies, starring Eric Close, Megan Ward, and T.J. Walsh.
...NASA nose crap.
:D This is quite possibly the funniest thing I've read on Flightinfo.com. "NASA nose crap!"

Makes for an interesting mental picture.

Nose crap?

Is that like the stuff that builds up on the front end of a space vehicle? Or is that like a nose cone?

Anyone remember the one with Mad Man Markum? Supposedly some kid who dropped out of school and was a prodigy with physics...At any rate, he made a Jacobs ladder and somehow used a lazer or whatever from a cd player incorporated into this thing to make an orange disappear when he threw it into the arc.

Well he needed more power so he swiped some transformers from the power company and wired them up....Last I heard, cat was missing and he'd been found by the authorities on a count of burglary or theft or something, pretty interesting stuff.

Then there was Mel's hole, this dude in Washington state had a hole in his backyard and he hadn't found the bottom of it. He had miles and miles of fishing line strung down this hole with a lifesaver tied to the end so it'd disinegrate if there was water down there, he'd never found the bottom of the hole and after the feds heard him on the radio show they comandered his property.

Once in awhile I fly past a tethered balloon on the TX/Mexico border that is over 7000' high, someday I'll take a picture and send it in claiming it's a UFO.

I'm assuming Huncowboy meant "NASA knows crap." But "nose crap" is funnier. (Jesus! I'm still snickering about that... :D )

Hey, I've seen those...there's one between El Paso and Tucson. I think it actually goes higher, like maybe 15,000. Impressive.

Sure, people'd probably believe it's a UFO. And, of course, you've got plenty of aliens on the Texas/Mexico border! :D

I'm still trying to figure out who looks at the pictures before NASA. Who would that be? Majestic 12? :D

No, the RJDC.

OMG the best English mistake I have ever made. Yesterday when writing the post I had 3 small and one big Fosters behind me after I woke up at 4PM due to security lag (a lowlife form of jetlag). Of course it reads "knows" LOL. MS Word's spell-check did not help me with that.

This reminds me of this radio guy said about Jennifer Lopez something like "she gave a blowjob" or something like that... and he kept going for a few sentences, then stopped then 5 seconds later... "I can't believe I have said that." I don't remember what he wanted to say originally but all the radio channels were full with that. This was like 1-2 years ago.

BTW that guy who supposedly worked at Area 51 was Bob Lazar, but I don't believe he has ever worked there. This guy was also a big friend and influencer of John Lear. They went together UFO hunting... may be fishing too...

Anyways... I should change my screen name to NasaNoseCrap.

I assume you're quoting this glaring error from the program, rather than making it yourself?

Minh
(Inventor of the Minh Jet)

I guess it is correct. Check the quote (middle of the page) from this link:

http://www.aircraftbuyer.com/featured/learjet.htm

There are a bunch of other sites that mention this relation but those are all UFO related, it took me a while to find a reference from a non UFO site.

Here is the quote:

"International records achieved by Learjets include the first round-the-world flight by a business jet (which included this writer as part of the four man crew), a standard production Model 24 traveled 22,993 miles in 50 hours 20 minutes flying time, with a total elapsed time of 65 hours, 4 minutes. The crew included Hank Beaird, John Lear (Bill's son), John Zimmerman and Rick King."

I am inclined to believe that Bob Lazar did work for a contractor at the Groom Lake facility for a short period of time but I do not think it was in the capacity that was described in the media!

Does anybody really nose? ;)

Lazar claims he has a Master’s degree from MIT but "research"(?) showed (of course this is also only from another "skeptic' page) his name did not come up on any records at MIT, he also could not name a teacher who was there at that time. He also did not remember when he graduated. It seems to me he is a clown or a chronic liar. He also holds a Bachelor’s from some other place which was supposedly closed down due to selling diplomas. Of course his story was that he has been "deleted" by the government, all his records wiped out etc... these guys never run out of explanations. That was the case with this radio show and John Lear as well. He just kept going.

Forgot to say that according to J Lear, Saddam (the real one) went 6’ deep 3 years ago due to liver cancer.

Don't believe any of 'em

until they show your their extraterrestrial anal probe...

According to my alien, I don'y have to go back to the mother ship for three years.

Maybe it was the bran muffins....
