According to my alien, I don'y have to go back to the mother ship for three years.

I assume you're quoting this glaring error from the program, rather than making it yourself?

What are you talking about? Everything said on that program is as good as gold. Don't you get it?

But seriously, was this guy really the son of the inventor of the Learjet? Sounds plausible...

John Lear is indeed the son of Bill and Moya Lear, and a most interesting fellow. I was his co-star at brand X airlines during the Gulf war, and flew a few trips with him over to Zaragoza and Rota, Spain on MAC charters and he showed me his license(s) once, I think he had about 20 type ratings. He was a slam-clicker, so I would belly up to the bar and try to cull a weak ATA F/A outta the herd, as they stayed in the hotel as well. Whilst conversing with an ATA PFE one night, he asked me while flying with John Lear if I'd "seen any little green men". Apparently he was previously employed by ATA as a L-1011 Captain but was fired for going on a radio station in Indianapolis and stating that the small pieces of flesh found around crop circles in the area were actually the anus(es) of missing, Alien abducted children. When called onto the carpet by ATA mgmt. (to the long table with no ashtrays) instead of professing temporary insanity, he pulled out a projector and books a began a powerpoint presentation to support his theorem.
I did sorta peek over his shoulder at the books he was reading at about 20 west, and sure enough it was about UFO's.
John's father Bill was a genius, designing the Lear, the 8-track tape player, the ADF, and the first electric bus. They say genius sometimes skips a generation (or maybe not) I will say he was an excellent pilot, and i still laugh out loud when I think back on some of his war stories he told me. Last I heard he was living in Vegas, and I'm glad I got the chance to know him.

It really makes you wonder why a guy like John Lear? If I look at this bozo Dudley Bob Lazar's picture I can understand what is up with him. But a guy like John Lear?

These are the possibilities:

1. he is right
2. he is wrong but thinks he is right
3. he is wrong and thus a case for the doctors

# 1 is out of course. # 2 is also out because there is no way a healthy guy can believe in ALL OF THIS. I would say you can easily believe in abductions and that UFOs are visiting us, I myself more or less believe in some of that, but you can't say the cold war was a result of UFOs. At least you can't say that if you have a healthy mind. Therefore I think the guy is nuts... I know, who am I to state such about someone who has already proven himself. But I just can't believe that it is all true or someone can talk it ALL into my head. No way.

It's in the family.

I met Ally Lear several years ago. Nutty as a fruitcake. She wrote a long rambling article for the school paper about the aliens living underground, how the US Navy created AIDS, and several other topics the Men in Black were very upset to hear her discussing.

Many moons ago when I was still active duty I met a Northrop test pilot who spent a great deal of time at Nellis. He and I became friends and our wives did likewise.

One evening we were gathered around a BBQ pit roasting a nice pig, it was in the wee hours of the morning and the topic of Area 51 came up just between the two of us.

He told me that he had been up there many times for many different reason and that the only thing up there was a bunch of old prototypes collecting dust, a lot of empty space and one or two REALLY cool toys.

I poked and prodded him about the toy part but I got nothing; until some years later I found out he was part of the B-2 program.

He’s retired now and one time recently he told me that in all his years, he’d never seen any space ships, aliens or time warps machines but he did see some stuff marked USAF that would have made you sh!t on yourself.

There was an interesting show in the Sci-Fi channel about a month ago about UFOs. A nuclear physicist claimed he worked at an area called S-4, which is about five miles south of Area 51. Said S-4 was where the real top-secret projects were going on and that Area 51 was mainly used for aircraft design and testing...

That show was probably using news footage of an interview with Bob Lazar. Although he proclaimed to be a physicist, he has been the subject of a great deal of controversy because none of what he claims in regard to his level of education, background, or employment can be substantiated.

One interesting omission on the "Lazar Corner" page, as far as I can see, is the missing "W2" discussion.

During his most famous TV interview, a W2 for the time period in question is shown. The IRS says it is blocked from identifying the EIN number, and will only say it is a "government" number.

Now, think of this as a contrarian. If you were the government, and someone who was breaking this kind of security had essentially become a public figure, what would you do? If you dragged him off to secret prison, his supporters would publicize his disappeance and you would be unwittingly adding to his visibility and authenticity. The best route is to shut off as much information as possible, which you are allowed to do with "sensitive" people. Every school record, degree, etc is easily suppressed. What you end up with is a guy who is easy to dismiss, which is your best result if you want people to ignore him.
