You just described Al Gore!
"Playboy?" When you think of Al Gore, you think "playboy?"

I knew right-wingers were out of touch, but man!

Anyway...........
Yep, jobs are picking up; got 2 job offers right now (1 turboprop and 1 citation) and I am keeping in touch with 2 companies who will be hiring in the next month (both jetjobs)
All corporate.

Oh yes, I can't wait to find out what a normal person lives like......

You just described Al Gore! Oh wait, he lost. Thank goodness!

I didn't know much about the electoral college before that election. It amazes me that someone could get the most votes and not win the election.

7B2.. I love your avatar!

And for Lewis U Pilot, for someone in your point in the industry, yes there is movement right now. I know at least 20 CFI's who've been hired by airlines in the last 4-5months. And these are just the people I know, 4 of who were my students. This makes for more CFI jobs too which is good for you. Some companies make a pilot lose their seniority if they take a job elsewhere while on Furlough so some people prefer to wait.

By the way, my brother went to Lewis, he was working as a controller at Ohare but is now in Baghdad. You wouldn't know him though he was way before your time.

Why is it that people on the internet think they are so smart... Hugh for your information I had been living in the United States for less than a year at the time of that election. I bet there are plenty of American Citizens who still don't know anything about the electoral college system.

Then an apology would be in order....that's if you hadn't left that cowardly PM in my box. There are plenty of Americans that don't know anything about the electoral college. That's a shame.

Hey Weasil, nice bike! That yours?

Electoral College

If not for the electoral college, NY, Chicago, LA and Boston would elect every president and the rest of the country would have no say. The founding fathers designed the EC for a good reason, so everyone has a voice in electing a president.

Bush is not the first present to be elected this way and will not be the last.

I HATE FREIGHT

Just curious, why do you hate freight?

Just tired of breaking my back for the past three years, sleeping in sh*t holes, working horrible hours, being filthy at the end of every day, eating out of vending machines, being treated like dirt at FBO's.. etc.. etc.. etc

This work makes you a great pilot but gets old...

I HATE FREIGHT!

Citationman, you haven't deleted your reply yet!! Are we feeling ok?

I love freight and my hands only get dirty cause I have to chock and unchock the wheels. If you didn't want to be an airplane jiggaboo, why did you apply for and then get down on all fours during the interview to beg for such a job?
