I've seen locks/codes going out, locks/codes going in, locks/codes going in and out and no locks/codes at all.
Either way you hack it the TSA blows. All it does in the end is make it a pain in the a$$ for us (the pilots) to do our job - which if it didn't exist nobody elses job on the airport would exist - kind of ironic isn't it.
