What's with knockin' the Jetta!!?? I drive a '99 and it's not that bad! I'm not gay or super liberal either. There are worse cars to be driving, and at least I don't have a car payment! When I go back to flying full time, I may have to downgrade to a '77 Beetle!

BTW- Most Jetta drivers I know are male and none have the rainbow sticker on the back!

I like my Jetta. Great gas mileage, no car payment, didn't cost too much. I do want to put some 17inch rims on cause the stock 15's mine came with look kinda dumb but its not a big deal. I looked at the TDI but wanted a little more room.

Most of the Jetta's I see around here are being driven by females, so I've always thought it was a chick car. But hell, I drive an Acura CL, and I see mostly chicks driving that car too, so I can't talk.

The interesting thing is the Mustang turning into a chick car once they started that new body style in the mid-90's. I don't see any guys driving newer Mustangs anymore.

I'm looking for a BMW 540 wagon now tho sporty and practical.

That's called a "touring", because BMW builds sportscars, not wagons. Period.

And my 530i touring goes pretty well. The true SUV if you ask me, mind the "sport" in it.

PS: Jettas are for old people. If you drive a Jetta in Germany, you have to be at least 60. It's true, trust me. The chicks car of choice over there is, guess what: The Golf.
