I loved that thing!!! Finest turboprop out there in my opinion. (I know the DO328 prop guys are going to debate on this---but I don't know anything about the Do)
Like the other guy said, it was fun to fly. Handles ice really well, and really scoots. It's nice to have a plane that you need to reduce power to keep it from overspeeding. The only thing to watch out for is approach, if you are straight in, be at 200 by 10 miles out or you'll find yourself having to put on cowl heat to rob you of power so you can slow down. This is especially true if you flew something that slowed easy before.
Great plane, he'll love it.
