I hope you find yourself in a jet....soon. Be careful in the J-Ball.
"Blue Ridge XXXX, can you give me FL190 today?"
"Sorry, we can't give you FL anything today. How does 13,000 sound?"
Flywrite said:Man, you guys must have had some weak -32s. I've flown about 25 different 32s and they would all do at least 220 IAS at 11,000 with the speeds up, and quite a few would be bumping 250. In my experience a full J32 at 100%RPM should do much better than this. Granted, the Jetstream aint the greatest performer out there, but 250KTAS in the mid teens is pretty normal. 140 at 11 makes me wonder if you left the wheels hangin'
No matter what you say about the Jetsteam it's still the best looking 19-seater built!

Ours were the old Eagle machines (Super 31's), but were certified for our certificate as 32's. At least that is what Reflectone told us. 19 people, a mess of bags and a full pod. Off we went.
It was a great little plane to learn to be an airline pilot on, and it makes what I consider to be the finest pilots out there. Since leaving the J-Ball I forgot how to fly. You must've been a Reflectone product too, calling them "speeds". I can't tell you how many times we got corrected for that! Anyway, I'm glad I flew it, but even more glad that I don't anymore. Every time I see some Corporate Airlines guy, I feel for them. They sure have my respect!

Dude, that's great! Brings back some creepy memories of that machine... My ears are still trying to equalize.
Flywrite said:618 it is, taken my last day. I figured I'd better get a picture of it before they just decided to push it off in a pit!
