Hi all,
I recently updated my JB application online and when I logged in there was a 21 question survey that I was asked to fill out. It was the standard questions about are you willing to work weekends, Do you have a passport, etc? Why did this survey just appear? I guess what I am really asking is should I start getting my hopes up that I might get an interview? Or does that not mean anything?

Thanks in advance,

BBB

Ditto

I filled my app Sunday and noticed the same thing. There were actually 2 surveys marked something like pilot and pilot(rev1). I did them both.

Worse for me, I saw the same thing. When I filled it out I got a sorry you are not competitive. How long do I have to wait to try again and become competitive?

not competitive......I hear they hire all kinds of people. Heard they even hired guys who had their licenses revoked.

I received a call for an interview on April 1st. When I updated my online profile before the interview, the survey questions appeared. I answered the questions and it gave me the same response... non competitive. I laughed it off at the time considering I already had an interview. Now, maybe it isn't so funny. I thought I did well at the interview, but got the letter of death yesterday. Coincidence?

Osmosis, How much PIC Jet time did you have. I was just shy of 1500 when I did the survey. they do not appear to take into account the PIC Turbo-prop time which would put me well over 2000 PIC turbine. Anyone have any info?

Fishguy,

Using the JetBlue 1.3 conversion, I was just over 2000 jet PIC. Using the .3 per sortie conversion, I am just over 1700 PIC.

you don't even need a license to work at B6...it is in the contract!!!

btw...we still don't pay for planes either! LOL

how much do the "BLUE DART" recommendations weigh in at JB. would someone who just has the mins be hired if they had a bluedart?

From my limited know I believe the blue dart gets you an interview, but you still have to pass the interview.

Did the survey have any questions regarding your thoughts on janitorial issues?
:)

:D

;)

#32: Y or N Additional duties require the use of latex gloves. Are you allergic to latex?

(Sorry, couldn't resist. :) )

"Ha Ha! Am I right? Well....goodnight everyone....I'll be here all week...you've been a great crowd....try the veal....remember to tip your waitpersons..."

I think I read something about the survey questions a while ago. When you initially fill out the application, you get the survey.

You can then update your personal information and resume' but the survey won't be available.

Every now and then B6 will re-open the survey to allow you to update and I think they send you an email when the update is available again.

I got a 'not competitive' also when I initially did the new application, but I am military and didn't have a class I. I already had an interview date (from the old application) and I made sure I had my Class I complete before the interview. I am now a new hire.

Good Luck!

Is jetblue currently a closed door without jet time or jet PIC time?
