I guess we were jealous of the Delta and American pilots who get to fly there.

Absolutely not! We had a crew breakdown there and they were deadheaded out on AF to Miami. I've been several times and its not good.
 
Haiti- where a live chicken is considered a carry on.
 
it's hard to believe now, but at one time (1950's, early '60"s) Haiti was a tropical vacation spot. . . . one of the Bond flicks took place there. Sad to see what it has become.
 
The way it was explained on my trip yesterday from our lead Fa... Puerto Ricans hire Dominicans which hire Haitians. Avoid avoid avoid... SDQ is a nightmare in itself

Hopefully it will be a red eye turn to enhance the JBU expierence. But don't worry we have international override pay to make up for the suck
