..these were among the negociating items mentioned in a recent meeting by jetBlue pilots, objecting to management selecting Asst. Chief Pilots fresh from IOE.

Management reprsentatives reponded, "That is absolutely not true, we have selected management employees well before IOE, even before an interview! Obviously, your perceptions are in error."

Outclassed by "incredible logic" and superior hubris, the pilot group was forced to flee the the meeting room.

PS. In repose, I suspect the pressure of the French actually wanting money now for the aircraft and fuel, is weighing heavily on management. And the fact that the French also want to renegociate the pilot's franc/euro vs $US exchange rate for their salary is making them a little cranky too.
