JetBlue online app problem

Already filled out the whole online app and even uploaded my resume. For some reason after I hit the SAVE button the list of jobs that come up matching my quals does not list First Officer, but does list the Instructor positions.

Anyone else having that problem? I went back in and changed all my times to Greater than 14000 hours and it STILL did not pop up the First Officer position. WTF?

Did you type in "SWA Hopeful" on the app? Maybe that's why it doesn't list any pilot positions.

No, but on second thought putting "is this the way to Hooters Air?" maybe wasn't the right thing to do...

And they should be hiring, because they just posted a position for FO's on Climbto350 Feb 25th.

And they should be hiring, because they just posted a position for FO's on Climbto350 Feb 25th.

Yeah, that's odd... Why would they post the openings on 350 and then lock you out of the app??

Do you meet all the posted minimums, like in PIC time?

Just log into your account and see what it shows that you have applied for. If it shows "First Officer", then you are OK. If it does not, then do a search for the "First Officer" position and specifically apply for that. Now log out, and log back in to be sure it shows the position was applied for and the current application date.

Also be sure to update your application frequently.

Yeah and if that doesn't work, email the IT help department. That's what I did and they helped me out with a problem I was having, cause 'puters are scary!!!!

I do meet all their requirements, and I have already applied for the position. So hopefully I'm good to go. I also shot off an email to the IT help desk, so hopefully they can figure it out.

Even when I put > 14000 hours in every category it STILL didn't bring up the First Officer position as one I was qualified for. Things that make you go hmmm....

'puters are scary, just don't tell 'em in the interview. Does experience with Playstation 2 count towards what they're lookin' fer?

Well if you score an interview, make sure you loudly proclaim "I am intimidated by all this technology. Comupters stink and I DON'T LIKE THEM!"
