Anybody who completed Phase I from the October 28th interviews at JetBlue hear anything yet? I'm still waiting?

Other questions.

Does JetBlue do a sim eval at the interview? And on the application (online) what exactly does "signed for" mean in terms of PIC? Obviously, a 121 Captain signs the release prior to flight, but what about all the pic in which you sign rental agreements prior to being the one solely responsible for the Seminole you're about to fly PIC?

No sim eval and "signed for" means that you are the PIC as defined in FAR 1.1, not as defined in FAR61.51(e).

If you mean "solo" like sole occupant, obviously you are the PIC. If you mean like "sole manipulator" as in (flight) controls, I don't think that qualifies. If you were using a Seminole figuratively as an example, fine. If you mean an actual Piper Seminole, it probably won't help you in a competative respect anyway as it isn't considered over 12,500 lb. aircraft. At least, I don't believe. I may be wrong. JB Bus Drver's definition is correct as far as I know.

P.S. When I said 12,500 I was refering to the FAA standard, not JB's. I think we still use 20,000 lbs. Check the website for the latest.

Phase II has taken anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months. My interview was earlier this year and phase II took me 2 months. Some of the military cantidates took 2 weeks. The average was 4 to 6 weeks.

Most of those who interviewed on Oct 28 and successfully made it to Phase II are getting some early Christmas Presents this week. Phone calls have been going out notifying those with job offers for February training. So, if you haven't heard anything, you'll be hearing soon!

I received a nice Christmas present on the 22nd of December from Bernice Murphy who placed me in the 2nd of February class. I interviewed on the 28th of October as well. Best wished to all who are still waiting; I hope to see you in MIA!
