jetBlue March 8th interview??

Myself and about 130 of my close friends interviewed on March 8th and 9th. Was just wondering if anyone has started to hear about completion of Phase II and potential class dates. I know they say it could take a couple of months and that no news is good news but I've had about all the "good news" I can stand. Anyone hear anything yet??

Got the call Monday. I'll be in the June 8th class. Calls are still going out and JBLU is filling the 6/22 class. They do give you a choice of aircraft. If you choose the E190 you'll start in August and if you choose the A320 you'll fill the next slot in whatever class is available (6/22 as of Tuesday.)

I interviewed also on March 8, my current company has already written me off, refused to upgrade me!! I hope I get a call either way real soon.

Aaahhhhh...I worked there...I am sure of it. Hired into the left seat, furloughed a month later, hired back as an FO less than an hour later, company runs upgrade bid couple of weeks later. Said it was due to attrition. Not cool. Hang in there.

I know of a few that interviewed on those dates that have been called while others are still waiting. Available dates were May 25, June 8 & 22, July and August for the Airbus. August dates for the EMB. The May and early June dates are probably filled by now. Good luck.

I guess our other thread for the Mar 8/9 interview group has died. What are we on now...week 11?

The Fedex guy has come to the house twice in the last two weeks. He approaches very cautiously now. I think my wife had been ordering L.L Bean stuff just to give me a heart attack.

I hope to hear from Verna soon...even if its just to say we can't put you in class till September.

I thought A320 classes were cancelled till further notice and all new hires had to go to the 190 unless they wanted to wait. Above seems to indicate that the classes being formed are for the 320 and 190 has the wait.

Can anyone clear this up?

Has anyone heard of March 8, 9 interviewees getting calls lately?

melonas memo

Hey guys

There is a Dean Melonas memo, dated first week in May that says 20+ aircraft still to be delivered in 2006. I'm told there has been a slowdown each Summer for training before this, and that may be a factor for us right now. Perhaps a jB pilot with first hand knowledge will jump in here to clarify.

I was told this would be the toughest part of the process..... the wait..... and I hate it when rumors are 100% true.
