Has anyone heard the good news if they are going on to Phase II??

Yes, I got an email last night. Origionally they sent me some other fellow's email to my house for "exciting news" about my recent interview. I just about had a stroke so I emailed them back and told them I got someone else's email. The recruiter promptly emailed me back that I had, indeed, made it to phase II

How about posting your stats when you get called for an interview. I am curious to see who they are picking now and where I stand in relation to all the other pukes in line

Are you guys interviewing for the RJ slots or will the guys later this year be filling those seats?

The EMB's don't come on-line until late next year. I think training is supposed to happen next year in late summer. So, anyone interviewing now, will go to the Bus.

As it stands right now, ALL folks interviewing at JB are doing just that, trying to fly for JB. When the EMB190 (or RJ if you wish) shows up around next August, if you are offered a job you get to pick which aircraft you wish to be assigned to, based on availability. If you wish to go to the A320 and a slot is not available, you are supposed to be able to defer your class date until it is available. All of this is based on seniority within your class hire date of course. The EMB190's will be coming in lots of 4 per month starting in Aug 05, and after we get 12 (I think) they will come at about 1 per month. The A320's will continue to come at about 1 every 4-5 weeks.

Bear in mind that this is what I heard about the assignments, and not official. The aircraft deliveries I mentioned is good info and well known.

Soooooooooo . . . .what if everyone (or a large majority) of newhires say they will stay where they are and wait for the big jet??

Like I said, "based on availability". In other words, if the only slots are on the EMB190, then that means "available". As far as the deferring to the A320, I think there will be a time limit for the wait? Like I said in my disclaimer, none of it is official, yet. Just trying to answer the man's question the best I could.

Better get into the Blue-Aid fountain now. A delay could put you at sub standard pay. Although, it is quite noble for management to encourage volunteer work among the employees.......maybe they will give all 190 drivers Gold plated
