JetBlue Interviewees

Did anyone from the January interview get a May class date? Are there still openings in the April 26th Class?

I know it is still early but has anyone from the March interviews in phase 2 been contacted by anyone? Has anyone been offered a class date prior to and contingent on their background check.

I know it will be weeks before I hear anything but, I have nothing else better to do.

Any credible info would be appreciated.

I know, I am asking a lot.

I haven't heard of anyone getting a May class yet. As far as April, I've heard the 26th still has slots for the 320. On Flightinfo, their are still several Jan guys waiting to be called. I'm included. When did you interview?

I interviewed on the 8th of March. I know that the calls have taken 8-12 weeks. I was included in a new program where they started the background checks before interviewing. Some, but not all, of the March interviewees were asked to partake. I don't know why and I am not implying anything. All I know is they started my background check about three weeks before the interview. I am hoping that this time will be included in my 8-12 weeks.

I am just hoping to get the nod. The wait is having its effects, if you know what I mean.

How long of a wait was there from the time you submitted an app online until they called for interview.

It was a little less than a year from app to interview. Some say the Air Inc. seminars helped them get called. I never went to one. I have heard of some people getting called right away and others hear nothing after two years or more. I think the more types and the bigger equipment helps. That is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Ha, Ha, Ha.....I like the attitude though. Actually, I got the call for the interview, but if I hadn't, I would definitely send you the money. I thought it was rather quick. Just trying to get as much intel as I can......Thanks

I just got called for the June 14/15 interview. I submitted my app end of December, beginning of January. Updated times regularly. No Air Inc job fair. 5000TT 1900 jet PIC.

Sure wasn't expecting it so soon.

When you get called for the interview with JetBlue do they give you a telephone interview prior to asking you if you would like to come to JFK?

I guess you could call it an interview. When they called me, Nancy from the people department (HR) asked me a few very basic questions. "Do you still want to work for us?", "Do you have all the minimums required?" stuff like that. No real brain busters. That was back in December. I couldn't make the January interview date so I had to defer to March.

I am curious, I have heard some say they have an interview in May and others say June. Are they doing interviews both May and June? I thought they only did interviews every other month.

I went to the job fair in LAX and the JetBlue recruiters told me that they were interviewing in both May and June even though they normally only interview every other month.

I am wondering if they have already filled all of the interview slots or if they are still calling people to fill any remaining slots?

Friend of mine got a call yesterday for a June interview.

I got called Mar 31st for a May 16th Interview. I submitted my app in Oct 05. 4000 TT 650 Jet PIC. I don't know a soul there and have no clue why they called. I wasn't expecting something until I updated my Turbine PIC bucket to above 1000 hrs.
