Any corporate guys hired by JetBlue care to post their qualifications:
total time, multi, turbine PIC, type ratings, education, etc...

Just trying to figure out if I'm competitive.

Thanks.

Hey CRJ,

My background is mixed Airline & Corp. Corporate from 1983 to 1988, Airline from 1988 to 2003, Corp again from 2003 to Mar 2005, then Airline again from Mar 2005 to ???.

Total Time - 14,000
Jet PIC - about 1000
Total Jet - about 7000
Total Turbine - about 8000
Mixed 91/121/135
A320 Type Rating & a variety of others.
4 yr degree from Embry-Riddle
15 years in the right seat at US Airways.

VERY VERY fortunate and blessed to have been interviewed & hired at JBLU, starting shortly. I know of some very qualified and available pilots, with great attitudes who have heard nothing. I wish I knew the formula to tell you, but I don't. It's a matter of luck as well. JetBlue is clearly hiring a mixture of pilots. If you have the minimums, then you are probably as competitive as anyone else. They have hired some with very low time, and in all age groups. I know of a 56 year old new hire.

Good luck to you.
