Does anyone have any first or second hand knowledge of JetBlue working with folks as far as delaying the setting of a class date?
I have recently had some significant set backs in my life and do not need to change jobs for awhile. Haven't been called for an interview but just in case I am I need to have a game plan for the best way to handle this.
Probably putting the cart ahead of the horse but if anyone has had any experience with JetBlue in this regard I would appreciate your input.

Thanks

I know Coco the gorilla had to delay her class date due to tour obligations. Jetblue was excellent working with her!

Yes, JB will work with you. I know someone that past up a few class dates for getting married. They want you to be happy and give you the best chance to succeed. They know that you have a much better chance if your house is in order.

I hope that you can find a quick solution to your set back because seniority is everything.

Thanks for the information.
Any idea what sort of time frame JetBlue would be willing to work with?
Weeks, months......

I would hate to blow a great opportunity because of timing.

Thanks.

Honesty is the Best Policy

When the call comes inviting you to join JetBlue, be honest and discuss the issue with Dean. He is the person who knows our needs and is the person who will work to accomodate your needs so it is difficult to say "weeks, months, etc." The company wants everyone to succeed and we will work with everyone to ensure they are in a position to succeed.

When life throws a curve ball, I doubt any of us would really be able to completely apply themselves towards initial training and this is what JetBlue needs from our new hires while they are in MCO. Best of luck and I know Dean is the person to discuss this with when you get that wonderful phone call.

Did you come up with that one on your own or did mommy help you?

Thanks for the input guys/gals.
Hopefully it'll all work itself out in time....

Nice to know JetBlue tries to work with you.
