Yippie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got a call from Dean offering me a job at jetBlue!
This was the best phone call I've gotten in my flying career. The wait was worth it. To all those at jetBlue- I can't wait to join the jetBlue Family. To those waiting- the calls should be coming soon.

I can't stop smiling!!!!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Congratulations.......

Congrats Skip !

You'll really enjoy it here at jetBlue.

Welcome home.

Don't Panic!

For whatever reason, many times the good news does not go out at the same time from Kew Gardens.

I dont' know the process...I'll defer to DGS and JointOps and others in the company. From past experience, however, I've had folks ready to go crazy when fellow interviewees were getting call and THEY WEREN'T. However...within 2-3 weeks, all was good and everyone had class dates.

DLREDLINE was one of these guys, and I'll defer to him to share the experiences. However, the big thing I would say is if one guy gets the call and you don't hear right away...don't freak out! Many times the good news calls are spread across several days or even different weeks (perhaps a different PHC meeting or a different background check?--I cannot speculate with any accuracy).

In any case....good luck to all and hang tough. Good news is likely just around the corner.

Albie,

Many times the PHC doesn't get through all the applicants during the first meeting. Additionally, due to their schedules, it's usually impossible to do just that. As a result, they usually have 2 meetings to decide on everyone. Hence the delays for some folks.

You're correct in your thoughts about the background check. However, it's more like some folks are easier to process (military whose training folders, etc. we don't have access to) vs. the civilian folks who may have multiple employers, training records, etc.

Congratulations Skip. It's always a great feeling to know you're wanted! JB does a great job of reinforcing those feelings every day of employment with this company.

Happy landings.

Welcome aboard, Skip!

For those others in "Phase 2 Purgatory", be patient. I was the poster child for anxiety during this period, becoming the last in my group to get the call last summer. Keep your mind clear of negative thoughts, don't fret over that which you have no control, and, by all means, stop ignoring the mailman!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I know there are still a bunch of us sitting by the phone and ignoring the mail.:)

Best of luck to everyone!

This is my favorite type of thread!

Congatulations and welcome to the Blue Side!

For those waiting for the call, stand by and try not to worry too much. We're all pulling for you!

Phase II is no given. A record 10 of us that made Phase II were not offered jobs from the Oct 14th interview. The wait sucks and we waited 3 months for bad news. Good luck!

Any Idea on how many they did hire from the Phase II's from October interviews? Sorry to hear that. I did have at least 3 guys on the Jan 14th interview that were there for the 2nd time. Good luck to all

still waiting............
