I don't remember ALPA 1. Maybe that was before my time.

There have been three drives.

ALPA #1 - "Dave will write the check for an in-house." - Failed

JBPA - "Not prepared. Shouldn't we try ALPA?" - Failed

ALPA #2 - TWA DFR ruling - Failed

This pilot group has been fooled three times and many of us are just simply out of time and no longer interested in paying for things we will never see.

The first formal ALPA drive started last year. There were a handful of guys that went to ALPA years ago but nothing formal whatsoever.
 
This is almost an exact replica of the early days at FedEx. Eventually the quick upgrades stopped. The endless promises.... The juniors guys had enough and out voted the "Purples" . Ironic that after the union was voted in the "Purples" tried to muscle their way in saying it was their idea all along... Blah Blah Blah....
