If you have 250 TT and 50 ME, and if you spend $33k,

You get training and then fly "paid" position as a 727 F/E for 250 hours.

Then you go through F/O upgrade training, and fly as a "paid" position as a 727 F/O for 250 hours.


So who would go to Gulfstream and fly Beech 1900s for $30k, when you could spend just $3k more and fly 500 hours total as a F/E and F/O on a B727 ?

The RJDC is about having ALPA represent us with the same vigor that they represent mainline. And to not have ALPA bargain away our flying oppurtunities without having us at the bargaining table. I'm ok with larger RJs at teh regional. Larger planes means larger paychecks.
