BTW, here is a quote in one of thier paragraphs.

"This CRJ Jet Pilot Job Training Program presents a unique opportunity never before available to North American Pilots. No more wandering about for years risking life and limb trying to build time in a piston or turboprop because you can now qualify for your dream job with specific training available only from Jet University."

I didn't even know I was risking life and limb in those pesky pistons and far too dangerous turbo props.

You would be amazed at the fuel savings to be gained by operating with the engine covers on. When there's no air going through the engines you hardly use any fuel at all. All the ignorant people on this board just automatically assume that there is a "problem" by flying the plane this way; it's simply not so. Learn to think outside the box.

Rumor on another aviation forum was that JetU used to have full PNCL colors on the CRJs on their website, but PNCL asked them to remove their color scheme off the planes. As a result, JetU folks took off the PNCL (NW Airlink livery) and left just a bland red tail. The engine covers are probably a result of the modified livery.

Sounds like you never flew Cargo/charter for a 135 operator whose sole interest was how much money they made and not the safety of passenger and crew. I walked out while employed by one of those. Few monhts later, one of their pilots killed himself while executing a NDB appraoch and flying below MDA trying to get 'the job done' to please the owner and the chief pilot. Now, my friend, that's not just losing a limb, it's losing your life.

Having said that, not all 135 ops are dangerous.

Aint no enging covers.... that is Fire from being in Afterburner .... Day fly up in duh sky so deep... it be cryin', yeah you thought it wuz rain....

I think I'd rather fly in a turboprop than in a CRJ with the engine and pitot covers still on....

I'd love to here that story. Another 400 hr wonder and incompitent captain pretending to be airline pilots again? Oh, my mistake, that was the crew that almost ran into a mountain.

Your hatred for all things 9E could be more eloquent if you would learn to spell correctly. What it won't help is the complete lack of integrity, class, and maturity you display by constantly trampling on the memory of two dead pilots. Let them rest now, it is time to move on.

Wrong state even?

Good God man, get one right.

You just got recalled to Memphis didn't you?

I know a lot of us have slept with your ex-wife, two or three of us slept with your then wife. I know you can't find a better woman than her, but goodness, can't you just let it go?

"This CRJ Jet Pilot Job Training Program (otherwise known as the JUCJRJPJTP), presents a unique opportunity never before available to North American Pilots (we capatalized 'Pilots' becuase our claim is total b/s and legal advised us to do that). No more wandering about for years risking life and limb trying to build time in a piston or turboprop (because that is probably the best way to learn and who wants to waste time with that). Now qualify for your dream (dreams may vary) job with specific training available only from Jet University (we aren't a real university except if you have nothing better to put on your resume). So, instead of risking your life and limbs, you can risk your crew members' and passengers'. What a deal."

damn not even continuous ignition can get them out of that one

ok you can owe me!!

Dang, I didn't even notice the pitot tube covers. I want that picture as my new avatar.
