There is an assessment test as part of the online application for Jetblue.
I plan to take it this weekend but before I do is there anyone out there who has any tips on how to successfully complete it?

What? Nope, there is no online assessment. Just the online application which is just like most other online apps. The app should not take you more than 30 minutes. There is a copy and paste for your resume and basic info to fill in...thats it. I have not seen it in 3 years since I work here now but a buddy of mine just did it and it was just as I explained above. If I am mistaken, please let me know because nobody here has heard of a online test or assessment.

It's not what you think. Takes about 15 minutes to finish. Do you know how to operate a computer type of questions.

We're so desperate we are interviewing at the in-house job fairs so trust me the "assement" asses very little.

Can anybody confirm there is actually an open house on the 20th...I need the address to the Jetblue training center in Orlando. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes there is an open house in MCO on 3/20/07. The address is below. Good Luck.

ORLANDO SUPPORT CENTER
8265 Hangar Blvd
Orlando, FL 32827

If you are flying in, there is a shuttle bus running from the airport.

Actually, there is a skills assessment portion that needs to be filled in. It just asks about your knowledge of computers, MSword, Excel, etc. Your online application is not complete until that portion is filled out.

If memory serves, I think as part of the regular application there's a little section with things like: do you know how to use a computer? Have you ever completed an online or electronic training program, etc.

In addition to that there's a much more detailed section where you have to rate yourself as to how well you understand (and how often and recently you have used) various programs like word, excel, pdf, etc. and various questions like that. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think that section needs to be completed for pilot apps. Click on speak up and ask. They are usually pretty good about getting back to you. I actually did the longer section but know many who didn't and got hired.

Now for the love of God will someone PLEASE make reference to cabin cleaning, not paying for airplanes or People's Express. If this thing goes into the second page without any of that we're going to rip a hole in the fabric of the universe or something. :smash:

Conan: JetBlue is the May through August airline. :uzi:
Letterman: But at least its better than Delta.

P.S. simmer down general, its all in good fun.

What?

We're interviewing?

According to WNFO we should be shuttering our doors about now.
