any idea what a realistic yearly pay will be for year one?

It depends on how long you sit reserve. I would say the company tends to hire into one fleet at a time until the staffing levels are more than sufficient. If you get hired on at the beginning of that, your reserve time will be short. I was hired into the 190 at the beginning of a wave and sat reserve for a short 2 months. After a full year as line holder, you should make around 60K depending on how hard you want to work. Good luck with training or the interview. This is a cool place to work!

Just to give you an idea of pay, started on Aug 29th got released to the line around Oct 20th and made 15k in that time here. I have been on reserve the entire time. 2500/mo in training then around 3500/mo guarantee. I had 90 hours of credit Nov,and 75 in Dec. (Also Oct paid prorated amount through the 10th of Oct of the 2500 then 75hrs for the rest of the month). You can add another 1500 for per deim that is not included the 15k.

You will make between 40 and 50k year one..

Year two around 55-65 k

year three 70-80 k

average 320 capt makes about 140k

average 190 capt makes about 85k

A super senior top 5% fo on the bus can make well over 100k with day turns and trips with dead heads. My bud made about 125k and he is in the top 20 fo's in jfk

By the third year you should be able to average 6 hrs per day and have anwhere from 16-19 days off with 80% of your trip commutable.

The local guys that are within 2 hrs of base can make a large amount of extra pay watching flica for dropped trips and sick calls in open time and picking up rsa's..

I am not starting the rumor but there is a possibility that the company may go to a single pay scale based on 320 pay to limit training costs.

Hope this helps
