The synergies are on the mainline side of things. The synergy term doesnt go with the regional side. The likely negative effects will be at the regional level, especially those involved with large amounts of 50 seaters. Its going to be interesting, Time will tell

LOL! I love it!

I love how a former RJ Captain talks sh*t about regionals, forgetting where they came from. I mean honestly, how long as it been since you crossed over? Barely 12 months? Yeah, you got yours okay......

Nobody's talking shat but you moron, please help yourself to a can of STFU, you sound like a crybaby.:bawling:

My comments about the regionals was nothing more than an observation from all the FACTS. Simple FACT is that DAL wants less "RJ's". (mainly 50 seaters) If you want to cry about it write a letter to Richard Anderson i am sure he will get back to you promptly.

I'm sorry, but this guy ReverseSensing hit it on the head:

Tone is a hard thing to capture on-line, but for a guy that's barely a year removed from the left seat of an RJ, you seem a little too "I got mine..." for good taste.

Delta wants less RJs (mainly 50 seaters)??? That may be true, but don't diss all RJs.

Remember, your worse case scenario is to take a left seat in a E170 at Compass, and throw a regional pilot to the unemployment line in the process....

Yeah, yeah, you will say Compass pilots knew what they were signing up for. But remind me again who set the terms for the operation of Compass.... NWA pilot group. The flowthrough/flowback was also a provision. Many guys that went there did so because hardly anyone was hiring, and for some, Compass was the only one. You can say all you want about them taking the job knowing they can get furloughed... but in the end, it'll be you (or your most junior colleagues) who will furlough these regional pilots at Compass.

Personanlly, I would have never agreed to a flowthrough/flowback provision. Why? History has shown (especially Eagle) that a flowthrough just doesn't work like it is designed to. What does work are flowbacks (especially Eagle). So anyone signing a flowthrough/back agreement is really just putting up insurance for mainline guys once the layoffs happen.

No Compass pilot today voted to have a flowthrough/back agreement. That was a stipulation that was set with the creation of Compass. Compass pilots are more so along for the ride now.

Yes you read my post wrong and took it out of context. Relax ;)

What i posted was speculation on my part by paying attention to whats going on on the NWA/DAL sides.

Again it will be interesting and time will tell.

I'm relaxed...and I'll take your word for it. Your comment, combined with your signature, just struck a chord. Sounds like I was wrong about you, though.

My comments are typically backed up by facts or known facts. Nothing i posted should have struck a chord. A$$clownflyer was just being an a$$ and was trying to paint mine and others comments negatively for whatever reason. As far as my signature, thats been like that sense the beginning of the Merger Talks and has nothing to do with anything else. I have no idea why that would strike your nerves. Hope that clears it up for you. Take care.
