JetBlue reported a 63.6 percent on-time arrival performance for December

Doesn't that suck?

Too little focus on the "product". Now THAT was the dumbest thing I've ever seen on this board.

Thats all JetBlue does is focus on the product. When you have International travelers that ride to JFK and then pick up their bags and head for JetBlue to finish the domestic portion of the trip, I'd say the product must be pretty darned good!

Agreed... That was one of the dumber posts ever. Especially if you'd contrast JetBlue's hospitality against the likes of USAirways, United, or Delta.

We will start by saying "Those Virgin pilots are very bad on the radios. I heard one Virgin pilot screw up his own call sign once yesterday. Idiots. Shows a lack of experience if you ask me".

32LT10, now that is funny.

Dave is out for three days due to language--and if his post replicates someone else's bad language and I figure out who it is, he'll be gone as well.

For you concerned citizens in la-la land, or for you smurfs who missed me, I give Eagle Flip credit for investigating the facts of the case, and then reinstating me.

I was an innocent victim, plain and simple. Where were you, JB Bus Drvr? You knew I was wrongly accused, and yet didn't lift a finger to help in my brief, yet painful absence.

Maybe if there were more standup guys like Eagle Flip, and less guys like you at JetBlue, I would revise my predictions of your demise.

That does "Suck" and we have to do better and we will. Just out of curiosity what was our completion factor for the month?

DS,

You like to make yourself sound holier that thou, but it is clear to me that you are just a flamer.

Don't go away mad, just go away.

I have an obligation to my followers, who look to me for wisdom and guidance, to shed light on these issues. It's a tough job, but who else could do it?

Certainly not YOU, Vingus. I'm not mad. I just have an overwhelming sense of duty to my flightinfo followers. Thank you for your concern.

Yes. However, what many don't realize and take into consideration is that JetBlue doesn't want/like to cancel flights unless absolutely necessary. We would rather operate a flight late and get our customers to their destination vs not getting them there at all. It's also very difficult when we do cancel flights (yes, it does happen) to re-book our customers because of the higher load factors that we have.

That being said, none of us like to see our ontime performance looking that bad and we are working on new ways to improve it.

Problems, problems, problems.

I don't see any solutions.

We know, you farked up USAirways and Gate Gourmet. Clearly you are incapable of seeing any solutions!

DS, you're the only problem. Just go back under the rock you crawled out from and we'll all be much better off.

Someone has to lead the lemmings and we all know how that works out. Speaks volumes for your character and information.

Ahh, much better!

I just took other's advice and put DS on my ignore list as well.

I'm all about facing reality, just not complete negativity.

Potty mouth!!! Yet another product of the public school system. As soon as JB Bus Drvr gets a view of your language, you're going to be banned. Have some class and keep it clean. There are children who read this forum. Isn't that what you told me, JB Bus Drvr? Get going and don't be a hypocrite.

To DS and 32LT10 et al;

I don't know about you all, but I've been watching JB since their inception. Yes, mistakes have been made. But mistakes were made back when <insert name of legacy/and/or/LCC carrier here> began operations many years ago. No company is perfect. Even SWA made mistakes in the beginning! This is just a curve the carriers go through. Will JB survive? Most likely, yes. Why? Because the management has shown a unique ability: to admit when they are wrong and then make corrections. This is an ability that DS and his lemmings do not have.
When you provide proof that you actually work in this industry, I will be happy to listen to your misinformed rhetoric, but until then you are on my ignore list, and FI is so much more enjoyable because of it! And no, I don't work for JB either.

Rekks

PS: Although hopefully that will change in about 6-8wks. Phase II! Just waiting!

Good bye Frankie. Your comments are as stupid as the rest of them. Six posts and you're an expert about us too.

Remember, it's User CP, Misc., Ignore lists, and poof, they're gone.

Yea, what a relief.

I don't mind the usual blue-bashing rhetoric. But this DS and FL are particularly visious and callous. Flaming is a waste of my time.

Get a life guys.

But let's face it, gang...stating that a JetBlue flight went NORDO across the country? Really? I am not always on the forefront of activity at JetBlue, but I do know a few things--and I sure haven't heard word one about such an event. 32LT10, your comments are simply "flamebait."

Flamebait? The two flights were JBLU 191 and JBLU 500 were within a couple of days of each other. If you want to PM me I will send the dates. Do you think being NORDO is something that generates front page news at the USA TODAY? Since you aret he not always on the forefront of activity at JBLU that indicates that you might be at some point and time. If so could you share with the rest of the class the results of the test for over 8 hours of hard time in a duty period? Also how about the min fuel declarations that got the ire of the FAA?

If think JLBU is the greatest then that is fine. Just don't be disappointed when they furlough you and the growth comes to a screaching halt. Just remember how smart they are. They would never have to furlough or slow the hiring.

You're on guard

I guess MR. PERFECT LT has never missed a center hand-off, or center has never forgotten to hand him off in his 14,500 hours of flying. What an arrogant tool! Don't throw rocks in glass houses big boy!
