I use the Flica alerts and I only pay $13 per month for the extra service. I have a treo 650 phone that has my flica shedule downloaded onto it. As for the alerts, you can set flica up to send a text message to you for different requests. If I need to swap a day trip or two I can set up flica to send me a text message if anything drops into open time either in the general open time or crewmember trade board. So far it has worked great. The alert service pays for itself after the first trip.
