J/S from Puerto Rico to US Mainland

Does anyone know if AA allows J/S from SJU to the US mainland? I know that J/S from mainland to SJU is not a problem, but does SJU count as an international destination? And thus no J/S allowed back into the states due to TSA regulations? Thanks!

It has been allowed since 1993.
