When do some of the CRJ's leave do to the Delta 900 Deal?? That should ease the preasure....
"SkyWest, Inc. intends to remove the 66 CRJ200 aircraft from existing Delta Connection service between August 2012 and December 2015. Of those aircraft, 41 are Delta-financed aircraft which are scheduled to be returned to Delta without obligation to SkyWest, Inc. The remaining 25 aircraft are SkyWest, Inc. financed aircraft and SkyWest is currently working on opportunities to mitigate the financial risk associated with removing those aircraft from Delta service."
The 25 are already placed.. AA....
Per CT we'll be losing 19 CRJ200s this year starting in September, 4-5 per month.
Was this in a memo or he said it in person?
In person in a training class. Things change all the time though and we are in contract negotiations, so who knows?
Thanks, hopefully something happens that no displacements will be a result
Agreed. He did say that between FTDT and attrition that displacements were not expected, but again that is always subject to change.
Dang! Only 15 days off with 96hrs credit....and I was only able to bid 5 15+ hour overnights in my home city with our PBS system......yep, this sure does suck.As for those suffering on the 200, jthat sucks, and I feel for ya. Wait until this fall, you'll get a rest

Maybe we'll get lucky and get that new "globalized" pbs so I can have 11 days of with 77 hours credit and 2 days at home on overnights.... If only i could be so lucky
I was flying with a F/O who had printed his schedule out and in cruise he drew lines through several locals and 2 days. I asked him what the lines were for, he replied those are SSDs. I asked what those were, he said Scheduled Sick Days. I sprayed coke out my nose! News flash SSD are in pace at your place of employment too, ya just have to deploy them.
Hope he has a creative explanation for his "SSDs" during his interviews at mainline

SKYW F/Os are looking at about a 6 year upgrade, they cannot even see an upgrade, much less a mainline job, thanks for playing though. If a regional pilot doesn't use SSDs as a schedule enhancement tool they will have a very limited life, 10 days off guaranteed, plus a commute, equals a divorce or 2, and kids that say to their mom, "who is that guy in the Halloween costume" she says "that's the UPS guy, your real daddy is on a 4 day"Hope he has a creative explanation for his "SSDs" during his interviews at mainline
