As of today 15 Apr 08 0830 with oil over $113 dollars a barrel, look for a few major changes. Initially the sell will be every hub will stay intact. I pitty the fool who believes that. Eventually the economies of scale will take over and the real picture of this merger will be shown. Within 2-3 years you will see a significant downsizing of Memphis and CVG and your major hubs will be ATL, DTW, MSP, JFK, and SLC. In the short term the executives will tell everyone how everything will remain the way it is. Then slowly after approval things will change.

Don't forget LAX!!

I think that will come to be very true.

Yeah people are pretty naive to think that they will keep all the hubs open. MEM and CVG will be reduced if not eliminated in two years. About 3 regionals will go out on the street. This is not good
