Time to start looking! I really want to get back to Arkansas, does anyone know of anyone that is hiring in AR? My stats:

2900 TT
1550 Jet
1650 Multi
350 Jet PIC
Typed in CE-500

Anything in Arkansas would be GREAT, however, I'm also interested in Mississippi, western Tennessee, etc. If anyone is looking or knows of anything, I'd appreciate any info. Also bear in mind that these are PREFERENCES. I'd move anywhere in the country for the right job (like HMR's job). Thanks folks!

They're the only company I know of for sure in AR besides Dillards & Stephens. I know Stephens isn't hiring, and you need an act of Congress to get on there anyway. I've got a resume in with NJA and haven't heard anything yet, but I'm hopeful. In the meantime, I'm just trying to keep my options open.

Thanks for the responses folks.......Tyson told me no the first time around, I'll try again when they're looking again. I've heard nothing but bad things about Pinnacle air in NE AR, and I'll shoot myself in the face with an elephant gun before I work for a regional again. :)

Anything else? Smaller companies even?

Tn, Ark, Ms

I don't know of anything right now, but will let you know if I hear of anything. I live in Tupelo, Ms and also am looking.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'll be looking hard myself. Anyone hears of anything feel free to PM me!

Looks OK, but I trust my friend's info in AR more, plus I'm not real wild about eating a copilot's salary for another 2 or 3 years till I have 4000 hours when I'm getting paid as a captain now.

Doesn't want to be a copilot...

Might want to avoid that point in the interview. ;)

PS - In fairness, you DID say "anything" in Arkansas would be great. You should be clear that you are not willing to accept an SIC position.

Contact U of Arkansas ..they had an ad for a pilot position about two weeks ago in the paper. They seem to be a good group to fly for.

Executive Air Charter at FYV

Pinnicale at one time was a turn factory for pilots...don't know what the current climate is but at least they are still in business. Might be worth a look.

Then you have Wal-mart and Tyson. Don't know much about them.
Its worth a shot.

Be aware that the cost of living in NW Arkansas has changed dramatically in the last 5 years ...do your homework before negotiating a salary. A average 1700 sq ft home is going for about 200K. Its actually cheaper to live in Dallas now...never thought I would say that.

Maybe I should have said I don't want to take a 50% paycut. Really, I don't care what seat I sit in, I just don't want to go from making a good living back to an entry level copilot job. I wouldn't mind a small paycut to get back to AR, but I'm not gonna take $20K a year for right seat in a Kingair.....knowhutimean?
