Not to hijack this thread, and yes we are the bottom feeder, anyone know what the profit sharing will be? Only a WAG here but about 4K?

FWIW 4K is what has been kicked around out on the line. After taxes I guess about 3K to be paid in March is what I hear.

Thanks...it will help a little!! The company just posted a list of pilots and how many months they are elegible for profit sharing. It's on the USAPA web site.

Hi job stealer.

No, the east pilots are in a FIGHT to restore integrity and sanity to this perfession!
Maybe you could start by understanding legally binding....

You west boyz have no clue how far out of touch you are with how things have worked long before you got your student pilots license.
Is that before, during or after your 19 year furlough?

USAPA was elected for a reason-
Yup, to abbrogate an arbitrators decision, the arbitrator the EAST chose. So far how's that working out for ya? Your salary + food stamps helping out? Or did you send mcdu out for a second job?

ALPA failed in keeping the established principles of Date of HIre as the cornerstone of our profession and now WE (east pilots) are on a crusade to restore that.
What principles were that. The ones that put a furloughed pilot in front of a working pilot? Riiiiiight. Enjoy LOA 93, those stellar payrates and your reserve position on the 190 are making you......Well, less than a mesa pilot!
You guys make a lot of people sick in this industry.
You're right, those east pilots are in the same class of people as the 1983 hires at CAL!

We getting tired of the reported posts, the attacks on people and sarcastic remarks... is there no one left willing to carry on a decent discussion without the flame throwning.. ?

For those doing the reporting..please if it does not violate the TOS please dont report it.. if your tired of a peticular members antics or attitude, there is a very nice "ignor" feature you can add that member too... you won't even see his/her post...

Another note on the profit sharing. I see the list that has everyone's monthly 2010 service. I think this is wrong. The money allocated to pilots should be divided evenly among all the pilots (east/west) regardless of furlough or not. The pilots on furlough count just as much as those of us that were lucky enough not to be furloughed.

Greed in this profession never ceases to amaze me.

I agree. I worked the whole year but I would choose that every pilot whether furloughed or recently recalled get an even share.

Writing a check to cover the health insurance of east-only furloughees has been tough to swallow (especially with no accountability from USAPA), so could you explain the concept of "counting just as much" to me?

A system to give out the profit sharing was reviewed by East pilots only/USAPA and that is the system to be used. If pilots that did not work(Medical/LOA/Fur.) to make the profit, the system does not reward them. Fair or not fair to each person, just like the SLI, it is the system for 2010 profits and is too late to change now, where were you when the East only ad hoc group was seeking input?
