you will be flying positive space...you will have a seat....just show up real early or check in online and get your seat assignment early and have fun in training!!!....don't sweat it!!!donvag said:XJT, Continental
Any decent company would probably have you stand-by for a few flights, but at a certain point you need to declare yourself a must-ride. This happened to me a few times at XJet. Heck I had to jumpseat to get to my interview way back when. Too bad just starting off you don't know who to talk to, espcially over a holiday. My best advice would be to standby for the earlier flights and explain to the agents your situation. Be nice to them. They will understand and hook you up most likely for the later flights if need be. I watched an agent involuntary bump a girl yesterday and it was like watching AIRLINE in real life. Give them a little bit of sympathy for cleaning up the garbage of others.donvag said:Is the ticket to go to training Stand-by? Rhoid said:Just ask EatSleepFly what happened to him. He missed a training event by missing a jumpseat. He was forced to resign at Eagle or get fired. Don't let it happen to you too.

Who Dey said:Maddogg805 that CA took a stupid risk to get you in the jumpseat when you already had a seat in the back. It wouldn't be worth my job to do that crap.
