Sure there is. Its just that for the most part, the happy ones don't spend hours a week at a computer b*tching and moaning.

Yes, I am very happy doing what I am doing.

Glad to be doing what I am, but the indudstry is still suffering from the post 9/11 blues and I do not see an end in sight. the forceable futer is lots of hours, lots of work, many changes with everyone (except corp.officers ) getting to little pay for there most responsible jobs.It still ticks me off that you can drive or fix a truck and make more$$$ for a lot less responsibility. But aviation is an illness that only blue sky's and jet-a fumes can cure. I still love it.:D

Yes, after 5 hours of flight experience, and just starting my first stalls, I can proudly say I am still very happy. :D

After 3 years in the business world, I am MUCH happier doing this, but then again, this is my passion. I think that if you are in this because it looks like a "cool job" or to make easy money, you are going to wind up disappointed and frustrated. Bottom line is that my JOB is to fly airplanes, something I love to do, but it is a JOB nonetheless and should be approached that way to some extent. I just happen to love my job.
You are right, it seems sometimes that all you read on here is doom-and-gloom - good to see some positive posts in a thread!

Hey, it beats working for a living.

P.S.- 7KCAB, there's nothing wrong with the Saab A-model that a few hundred more HP wouldn't fix. I believe it is usually referred to as a "B model". LOL
