Heard some employees have hired a firm out of DC. Something and Myers(can not remember the 1st name of the firm). The person that told me this said it is a group of both SWAPA and ALPA members and the filings will be out by the end of Jan. Gotta be BS right?

I'd be shocked if there was no litigation (however futile or frivolous) in the wake of this seniority list integration. It happens virtually every time two big labor groups go through a shot gun marriage.

And there's always a lawyer willing to take someone's money!

Good Luck,

Boyd, Dewey, Cheatham & Howe, LLP.

I think that there will be lawsuits AFTER integration. Probably against ALPA and SW management. Im not too confident of these suits being successful. The only possible angle would be against ALPA due to MEMRAT, but there is controversy on that issue since it was from the NPA days. I think MEMRAT required the membership a vote based on the weight of the SLI/SL9. Hence it affected changes in our CBA and seniority. I know PCL will disagree, but a judge may not. We maybe shall see.

I haven't heard anything, but dragging this out for years in court will only make ya miserable. Even if you win, you lose . . . . . sleep, money and peace of mind.

This thing is a lot like your mother-in-law . . . it looks a lot better in the rearview mirror, getting smaller and smaller.

You must not be reading the union message board any more. There are some that will never let this go. Some I don't think have ever let anything go, still pissed at the doctor that slapped them on the ass as a new born.
