They have 2 interview groups this week that a friend got to choose from. One started yesterday and one today. Still hiring, just being very choosy on who they interview, but I don't really get how they choose since many with good LORs have waited many months. I wrote 2 LORs about 2 months ago and both just got the interview offers in the last week. Why some others have to wait longer and some have to wait shorter I do not know. The only thing I do know is that a LOR will get you the interview faster than someone without one.

I'd be applying to XO Jet and Citation Shares.

I have had 4 buddies of mine go to XO because they simply didn't hear from NJA in a timely way. Fine, it just proves we are behind the power curve and its going to cost us in quality F/O's.

2005 to 2007 did enough damage, people hired with a domicile choice in mind....now this!!!!!

NJA simply doesn't have its sh!t together regarding interviews and as a result we are losing some of the "cream of the crop"

If you have time to spare....NJA.....

If you need to meet the mortgage....screw NJA, go somewhere else.

lol....so it's NJ's fault you didn't get a call.....with that attitude im glad your going to work at XO then.....

I could be wrong but I believe he does work for NetJets.

It's not that they don't have it together - Derinda does a great job at what she does. It is just that the powers that be, have pushed expansion beyond what the market will bear - training, aircraft purchases, etc.

Anyone else wonder what is driving this expansion all of a sudden? With fuel costs rising and everyone else downsizing, what does Mr. Buffett know what everyone else seems not to know. Maybe him being a Democrat helps his insight a bit . . .

Come on Dad. It is much different than two years ago (aka, "all of a sudden"). Where have YOU been? In the last year we hired 500 pilots, started a 200 million dollar expansion project, placed orders for 200 new aircraft - all while the ENTIRE aviation industry is crying UNCLE over fuel prices, salaries and inernal problems. (and we made record profits by the way)

I just think Uncle Warren has something up his sleve - that's all. Nothing magical, I just think the economy is going to get a whole lot better a whole lot sooner than most people think. Call me an optimst.

I've been here the whole time by the way.

Thanks Hung......to clear the record.... Its been 9yrs. Man!!! Time flies (no pun intended).

Wait until you here the full story.

Sufice to say, I have never and I will never allow anything less then a 100% total excellence. Some people I have flown with don't seem to agree with this philosophy.......

Its almost as if NJA should be thanking them for coming to work here.

Sux to be them when I'm in the left seat, which is always.

Its all about the owners..... Plain and simple.

DO , sounds like some boys with entitlement issues ( the ones that think NJ should thank them ) .

I would place a bet a lot of those 'types' come from the regionals and are ME ME ME!! ;-)

I like your attitude!

I can vouch for that. ;)

Oh, and to repay my karmic burden, I did four Jepp updates in LUK before heading to the hotel last week. I thought of you. :D
