Well with the rumors out there that UAL has put out an RFP for 50/70 and turboprop flying (fit's MESA's operation??) and the cancelllation of pilot vacations through to the end of June, maybe things aren't too rosey in the JO club!

So now Colgan is going to pay some kid $19/hr to fly a 70 seat Q for UAL instead of Mesa paying someone $19/hr to fly a 70 seat Jet? What's the difference?

Colgan's probably more reliable and not run by the industry's biggest ****************************** bag.

Come on now you know the difference! Ones a Cool A$$ Jet and one is a silly ole' Propeller Airplane Thingy!!!

If the RFP does come to be. It could be the break XJT needs right about NOW!
Provided we were to ink the deal

You XJT newbie U-FO's sound like a desperate college geek trying to hook up on a Saturday night. Just stay home, you dweeb. "Ooohh, look, United needs more planes! I'll bet XJT could get that flying! Oh, boy oh boy! Hey, Wally, look at me! I work at XJT! We're number 1!" Dork.

Yeah thanks for including XJET - we certainly aren't willing to pick up any new flying at the moment.

sarcasm

Wasn't XJET the guys who called Chautauqua wh0res for moving in on your Continental flying. Now you wouldn't want to do the same to another airline...would you??

I don't know if this RFP is really a big surprise or not. Mesa has been planning to swap somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 50-seaters for 10 70-seaters on the UA side for a long time. This might just be part of that exhange plan. Or not.
