I just learned from my mom that Im at a high risk for getting glaucoma in my early 30s. i dont know much about glaucoma, but I was wondering what my chances of holding a 1/3 class medical with glaucoma are and if theres even a point in continuing training with this knowledge.

part 67.103 lists the eye standards for a first class medical.......

(e) No acute or chronic pathological condition of either eye or adnexa that interferes with the proper function of an eye, that may reasonably be expected to progress to that degree, or that may reasonably be expected to be aggravated by flying.

That's the only thing that might get you, but I'm sure your local AME will be able to tell you for sure....
